Bayern Munich to setup 'Training Camp' for refugees

 




FC Bayern Munich, who have won the German league title 25 times and the champions league 5 times are to set up a 'training camp' for refugees coming into Germany. They will donate 1m euros for refugees project and they have also planned to provide food, German lessons and football equipment for children. 

"FC Bayern see it as its social responsibility to help those fleeing and suffering children, women and men, to support them and accompany them in Germany" Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

This is not their first time in these kind of social activities, they has been involved with charitable ventures for a long time. In 2004 "FC Bayern - Hilfe e.V." was founded, with 0.6m euros fund raised by officials and players of the club to concentrate on the social engagements. 

The number of migrants entering Europe has reached record levels this year, and they are expecting to take 800,000 asylum seekers by end of this year. These migrants are largely driven by the conflict in Syria and most Hungarians wish to travel to Germany.
